Travis Flohr – Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder

Travis Flohr, Ph.D., currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at EO-Insight, where he leverages his expertise in earth observation and spatial analysis to drive innovative solutions in land management, landscape architecture, and regional planning. In addition to his role at EO-Insight, Travis is an assistant professor in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Penn State University. With six years of professional experience in private landscape architecture practice, he has honed his skills in modeling vegetation and natural resources, addressing urban heat islands, and guiding sustainable development initiatives through earth observation and spatial analyses. Travis’ interdisciplinary approach combines technology and data visualization with a deep understanding of environmental dynamics, establishing him as a leader in the intersection of landscape architecture and advanced spatial analytics.
